Oh and there is no such thing as a "built to SCCA specs" cage.
Care to explain? How would a sanctioning body (SCCA) check to see if safety equipment met their requirements if they didn't have specifications?

Looks like a Carbing (from Hyper Rev Vol2) extended or a Cusco/Safety 21 cage wrapped without the rear sections and the front sections extended to the front.

Its not like we havent seen this cage before.

Edit
Now that I just looked at it again the center hoop is the exact same as the Safety21/Cusco, just wrapped. The front bars are the same as well but again, wrapped and extended.

So there you have it. If it has another name its probably made at the same factory as the Cusco/Safety21 cage. Probably the Okuyama/Dash Sports Roll Cage.

i'd agree with that, except that it goes through the dash, the cusco/safety 21 doesn't.

i'm still shooting for custom, if the price is installed. it's probably something they build for you.. .or they make/buy them pre-built and finish it off in the car.

I think you can order the extended version (Cusco/Safety21) when you place the order. I was offered that choice when I ordered my cage 3-4 years ago. I remember Bozz telling me in an email that Cusco asked if I wanted the cage that went before the dash or the one that goes into the dash.

actually you can order a cusco cage that goes through the dash. they make two options: through the dash or right before the dash.
