I dont think 9000rpm is so good.
But if you are happy with 8000-8600rpm i think your safe.
I wont rev higher than 8500rpm.
Going to buy an AEM EMS and try to be as careful with all things in the beginning. But i think im almoste in over hy head this time
Money will be my key or failure.

J's Racing's 2.2L stroker kit is very similar to Spoon. Compression will be raised from 11.1 to 11.8 and all components are balanced.
Fuel management, you can either use stock plus piggy bag systems like E-manage...etc. J's and Spoon does offer ECU for the stroker kit. I would recommed AEM EMS as for tuning device.

Yeah that's why I was saying that there are guys that run a 2.2L OEM bottom end to 9k, the J's stroker kit has forged Honda pistons and rods (I'm pretty sure), they're at least as good as 2.2L OEM pistons and rods so they should be able to rev to 9k.

I will be posting info and everything once it gets taken care of. I have been working with Dixon and Ben at AJ racing to import the J"s 2.2L Spec 2 motor. This is the motor they use in there touge car. The 2.2L is rated at 300Hp. I will have more info once it becomes avalible. Also for everyone harping about 9000 rpm, It does not matter how high you can rev, you shift when your power falls off at whatever rpm that may be. If power falls at 8500 whats the point of going to 9000??? Just to say that you did

No, that's not the point. But there are guys out there who rev to 8k who are still building power when their rev limiter hits ... reving to 9k is better than reving to 8k IF you are still making power after 8k ... with the amount of air the F20C and F22C engines move, it is not unreasonable to want to rev an F22C engine to 9k since you can force enough air into it to make power after 8k, or even 8500rpm. Engines are big air pumps (as per some guy's sig on here ) basically, and since our engines flow enough air through them to make power at those high revs, and have phenomenal top and bottom ends built for it, why not take it out to 9k, or even 11k if you can still make power out there.
I know that you have had some nice engines built for your car and you know all this already, but if you're getting a built J's Racing-stroked 2.2L F20/F22 hybrid engine dropped in, it would stand to reason that your supporting parts would allow that engine to put out the most power it can, which would be well after 8k and hopefully after 9k, I would like to see him throw a dual valve spring/titanium retainer/nice valves package in and rev it out to 10k as long as he's making power out there.
