anyone know any place to get a good deal on a JDM engine? My seller fell through and decided to keep his engine. If I can't locate a JDM engine for a decent price I might end up doing a build with toda high comp pistons, toda spec b or c cams(I know it's never been done before or at least not heard of) and carillo rods with a balanced stock crank.

yea I checked that out and jazzproparts has it with free shipping. Just don't think I can spend 4k right now. The guy was offering me the engine tranny and ECU for $1,500 so I think I'm just going to rebuild my current block.

The JDM and USDM motor arent too different. The compression is just a little off. I didnt do anything differently when smogging the car.

It doesnt feel much different from drivin a f20c1 s2000.
