yea, thats how tirerack is, they only sell wheels and tires that fit your car exactly.

try ordering wheels with you rown crazy offset from them, they wont do it. or atleast not for me, i had to call in and say it was for a different car so they wouldnt hassle me

it has its pros and cons, customers cant ever complain since they only sell the safest sizes and offset for every car, but people like us cant get what we want

Stupid though as a company, if the customer knows what they want, place their own damn order, why would the company lose business by telling you NO. I thought orders were recorded anyways. I don't see how they would be held accoutable for your order if it's per your request. That's like an Amish guy ordering a computer when he doesn't have electricity, why should Dell say no because he can't use it. If he knows what he wants and has the money, there really shouldn't be any issues.

 

I am sponsored by bridgestone and I recently talked to them about this tire. I did get a set from them for my sponsorship and went 225/45-17 and 245/40-17. I didn't have any problems. I have since found a local shop that can get me 255/40-17 at a very reasonable priceand am now running 255/40-17 in the rear. These are imported straight from Japan though. Just so you guys know, 215 and 255 are not going to be coming anytime soon.

 

yeah my local S&S is so stupid they said that tire doesnt even exist, stupid rednecks. Anyways I ordered factory size from tire rack. hankooks up front and RE01R's in the rear, I'm guessing understeer, we'll see.
