Default JIC Seats + Bride Rails

Hey guys..

I bought some Bride PROs with some Bride rails. They worked fine.
I sold the seats and kept the rails. I bought some JICs, having been told and read that Bride rails will work.

The holes on the new JIC seats are about 6'' too narrow to meet the holes on the slider/rail.
Any suggestions!?! Uh oh...

Well... Simple, really.

Here are some pictures. First showing the holes for the seats way off. Then me showing the metal steel strips I bought from home depot. I am drilling the black holes tomorrow, and I had to buy some more bolts. So now a bolt will hold my steel strip to the slider on each side, and each side of the seat. Front and back. And I can still slide the seat, theoretically.
