since you will have the ability to run a nice wheel with a big dish i would say go with the HRE "C" series. its their new line of multi piece wheel. comes in a dark graphite finish which would look great with your color and they are a race breed of wheel so they are on the lighter scale of multi piece wheel, they incorportate light materials like Ti into the wheels. check them out.

Funny I have a chance to get these in 17 inch but they just wont clear a bbk even with a 17x7 +40 front. Spokes prevent running a bbk or I would be all over them.

what kind of offsett would one need to run a big brake kit like:

-Brembo Gran Turismo- Offset?
-Endless BBK- Offset?
-Spoon Caliper- Offset?
-Stoptech- Offset?
-Wilwood 6pot- Offset?
-Wilwood 4pot- Offset?

I'm sure you've had at least half of those from what I've heard!

Since we are getting off topic, I'd also like to know who has the Brembo Race BBK. I remember someone bought it within the last year. It wasn't the GT kit, it was some race/track kit.

I believe you are referring to MugenPowereds2k (or something like that) from Toronto.

As far as offsets, it totally depends on what wheel you run. I have a 18x8 +55 offset and I am going to be running a BBK soon supposedly without any spacer.

Between him and Johnss2k, they have had all of them. Johnss2k has had the Brembos, Spoon, Wilwoods, and Stoptechs. He said the Stoptechs are the best of all the brake kits he has had followed by Brembo, then Spoon. He didnt like the quality of the Wilwood and know that he had a big problem with them. It totally depends on what wheel you get for offsets.

I am hoping to use this car as a daily driver so i would like a rim that is stable . I like the c series HREs though. Very nice. I will still be looking. The centerlock idea was great. Only problem is i would be looking at over 10000 for the conversion and rims. If anyone knows somewhere cheaper i would like to look further into it.

Although I've never been sponsored (atleast for a street car), I imagine with all the work you've done, someone would help you out with something as trick and sick as a Centerlock wheel deal, only problem is, who in our industry would have that type of equipment? Maybe Mackin Ind. The Rays Eng. guys?
