You'll have some savings. The cost of shipping is quite expensive, as is the cost of domestic freight in Japan, duties taxes and other importing related fees.

To simplify your situation, I'll be happy to sell to you at Japanese market yen prices if you want to arrange for pick up in Japan at my warehouse in Tokyo. Odds are it'll save you roughly 10-15% on average compared to the prices when buying in America.

I had a couple of friends that did the same thing when they were stationed over in japan, and they saved way more then 15% on the parts they bought.


Go for it, get all the goodies you want to!

i get 15-30 now, ..lol

setup ficticious name=90$
setup business liscense= 150$?
setup resale liscense/tax id=300$

save 15-30% and hookup your friends= priceless. hah

Do you buy enough to put up with the hassle? Now you have to report taxes 4 times a year because of the business license. All those hook-ups for your friends need to be reported. You have to renew your licensing fees, seems like a lot of trouble to me.
