Its hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks about right. The hardtop doesn't sit on the car, there is a small gap.

The you should have shims for the sides (triangles with 3 holes) and shims for the front (rectangles with 2 holes). Adding the shims for the front may help align the top with the windshield frame.

That gap is way too big. I think you need to re-adjust the mount points.
My top sits at half that height if not more.

Did you measure the gap? If so what is the measurment? I think it's impossible to follow the OEM HT measuring guide (8mm/14mm).

It appears a little to high. I recall having this item like 7 years ago and I had the same issue. I think it had something to do with the placement of the top and the small pieces in the back. I had to re-adjust and latch everything perfectly.
