I, for one, would suggest on holding out for a Mugen header, rather than going the Rick's route. Nowadays, you can pick up a used Mugen header anywhere between $600 to $900, depending on how motivated the seller is.

So many people have done this already or have come close to it . Its not that hard. Goto www.kingmotorsports.com and order 1 of everything they have for the S2000. Be prepared to spend over $20,000 USD though.

Have fun..

Do take this guy's suggestion into consideration as well. After the departure of jahnk (spell?), he is the biggest Mugen whore.

***Ahem*** I taught Charlie [jahnke] how to be a Mugen-whore (he only did it faster than me).

Charlie was into big audio and NAAWWWSSS up until he saw the Mugen light

The guy that taught me was Nick Wong [GTRPower]. He owns the red Mugen SS2000 featured on King Motorsports site (the one with polished wheels). Funny thing is, he taught me with his Mugenized ITR (also the one featured on King's site).

What's funny (no. 2) is that the three (actually four) biggest Mugen-whores I know are all Midwest based. There's Charlie, Nick, and me....I wonder if it has to do with the fourth 'whore' being based close-by in Wisconsin; Scott Zellner (pres. of King Motorsport).

if you're looking for anything else, performancewise, think about the Hondata gasket. It eliminates heat bog and works GREAT with the Mugen cooling mods.

Glad to hear that as I have Mugen fan switch/T-stat sitting on my desk next to my Hondata gasket.
