Default Mugenized S2000

My buddy friend is converting his S2000 to a mugen S.

Current mods so far:
JDM engine with 11.7CR
Mugen ECU
Mugen cooling mods
Ricks Header (same gains as mugen)
Megan Test pipe

he is about to order the mugen exhaust and CAI.

What other engine related mods would he need to benefit/extract more power out of this setup ?

Will a bigger Throttle body be compatible with the Mugen ECU ?

Thanks

not much more your buddy can do to get more performance out of his engine by using only mugen parts...a big bore throttle body with work with the ecu, there is no reason why any such t/b should not work with any ecu...king motorsports offers a big bore t/b or you can just have the stock one bored out...if he wants to keep adding mugen parts, a mugen metal clutch set and an lsd would help get more power to the ground and a set of 4.77 gears wouldnt hurt either...

I mean this with all due respect, the Rick's header seems a wee bit out of place in your quest for a "Mugenized S". My .02.

At the time of purchase this was out of stock. This was the best match for the Mugen Header . It is tested and proven it gives identical gains.

Lets not go off topic please.

if your going all out mugen why settle for a Ricks header since its the copy of a Mugen. thats the easy way out...part of building a car is waiting for the parts.

Thanks Frank. Like I said above..... i'm not trying to step on your toes or offend you in any way. From a JDM perspective,( since your in this forum), why not just wait the time for the Mugen header since you went all out on the car anyway? A true Mugen whore would allow no exception, no matter how similar the graphs or the gains( no disrespect to Ricks).

It's like putting a piece of a puzzle in the wrong way and saying it still fits. To each his own, good luck with the car.

So many people have done this already or have come close to it . Its not that hard. Goto www.kingmotorsports.com and order 1 of everything they have for the S2000. Be prepared to spend over $20,000 USD though.

Have fun..
