Default New Front Lip

Well, after many PM's, I've finally got my C-west front lip comming. As far as I know, there isn't another on the board..
Here's my current set-up (GP sports rar, Garage Defend sides, Amuse hood, Mugenn SS wing)

And here's the lip

I like the lip a lot. No doubt that the problems in sourcing one that you were experiencing were due to MotoRex's problems. Now that C-West has its own branch on our shores its nice to see the price of their products going down and their availability going up!

Love the lip

Is that the real Amuse hood or copy? It looks good. Shit your entire car looks good. Nice flow of parts.

I was told Amuse when I bought it..... the original owner got it dinged up with rock chips, painted it and later sold the car. There was some damage to it, so I got for a good price. Since owning it, there was a question of its authenticity, but I don't really know how to tell. Everything else on my car is verified authentic (JDM whore...I'll admit it). But the hood is questionable.

Considering the source, I really appreciate the compliment.

post a photo of the underside of the hood. I had the Amuse on my car. It's obvious with that hood if it's fake or real.

If you'll be at the Mid-A Mod day I can tell you if its real or not

Or if you post up some more detailed pix we can help.

My guess is that it's a knock off (its tough to tell at that angle but looks like Seibon) unless you paid a couple G's for it

you know, I paid pretty good money (not a couple G's, but then again, it was damaged pretty badly). At this point, I don't really care.

No problem, we were just offering to help since you said you didn't know how to tell if it was a real Amuse hood or not

I think everyone just thought it was surprising that it was real since they're very rare and sell for about $4500 new (so even damaged the likelyhood that you would get a one for less than a few thousand is astronomical).

Even though it is probably a Amuse "style" hood the car still looks nice!
