You are thinking of "Medicalstudent" from Texas.

[QUOTE=1AP12NV,Jul 17 2005, 08:33 AM] No problem, we were just offering to help since you said you didn't know how to tell if it was a real Amuse hood or not

[QUOTE=JsAP1,Jul 25 2005, 06:50 PM] Correction, the Amuse hood goes for around $3300 new not $4500. You getting it confused with the dry carbon Cwest tri-vent hood. That goes for like $4300.

From the pictures I cant tell if its a 2x2 or 1x1 weave. Its kinda hard from the view but I wouldnt really care. I always like the style of the Amuse or Amuse "style" hood and I would paint the hood Spa yellow even if was "authentic".

about painting the hood, but you already knew that Chris.

As for the non-authentic CF hoods weighing 20 lbs, WTF?? I've never heard that before. IMHO, high dollar CF hoods are a waste, we already have an Aluminum hood. It's just not smart spending in my book. There are a lot of other things you could do to your car for $3300 that would do a lot more for the cars performance. That said, I'll probably buy the J's Racing full FRP (least expensive) hood to clear the J's Racing Intake. (the stock hood won't clear a Mugen or J's Racing Intake will it?)

And kush your the idiot, the man said all the aftermarket parts he's bought for the car are authentic JDM, you're going to make a dumb ass comment about his headlights since he's just cleared the corners. Thats so trivia and nit picky. Guess what, his front and rear bumpers, doors, fenders are all USDM too.

[QUOTE=1AP12NV,Jul 25 2005, 11:16 AM] Not to get off topic, but I was refering to an amuse street version (with the hood latch) and the optional UV clear coat.

So wouldn't his headlight be made in Japan also? It's obvious who the dumbass is.
