I apologize I did not mean to say your tuner was lying to you

I just have seen some shady stuff go on at dyno shops before when the owner really does not know what is going on.

Both of my dyno shops let me run the car on the dyno; since they know I am not just some random person that does not know what he is doing on a dyno.

But props to you looks like you have got a good strong S to start putting power adders on.

No apology necessary I didn't take it negatively,I was just letting you know the dynos were properly done.Looking foward to your other type dyno test ( dyno-jet?).

Well guys the inertia dyno was more then disappointing.

It showed
peek power as 210 up from 203 with very minimal hp gains below vtec
and
TQ up about +2 to 3 ft lbs below vtec and only +1 to 2 above vtec. Which is within the error factor of a inertia dyno so you can not take those figures as fact.

There has go to be something wrong with the inertia dyno;
one of the runs showed a major jump in TQ between 6.5k to 7.2K RPM..
Jump showed 333.6 W Tq!!!!

Dyno Dynamics Dyno is loaded by way of an electric motor that tries opposes the motion of the tires.

My measuring the voltage and current supplied Vs the Back EMF (or resistance to motion)

Inertia dynos are more common and generally read anywhere from 10 to 15 hp more at the wheels than a loaded dyno

Inertia dynos generally are more common due to there lower cost.

Loaded dynos despite reading less power are more accurate and precise in the numbers that they produce especially when it come to showing delta power generated between part/tunes.

Some other key feature differences between the two dynos is

Loaded dynos measure torque and then calculate hp

Inertia dynos measure HP and then calculate HP.

Remember engines produce power(TQ) not HP..HP is a by-product of TQ acting over a period of time or rpm in the case of an engine.

HP is just an easer concept of people to comprehend then TQ.

Hope that helped instead of confusing you more.

that's unfortunate...man the s2000 is just not mod friendly! that may be a good thing - honda did a heck of a job from the factory with this car.

I wouldn't say the dyno is unfortunate. The only unfortunate thing is that the inertia dyno crapped out. There is an increase in TQ over the entire rpm range which is a nice feel for a car that is daily driven. I love mine and dont have any regret

the dynos show the changes on a stock AP2 (04)
Blue line on the three line graph

and the changes once you change the Fuel pressure to get a bit more fuel.
green line on the three line graph

go back and take a look again

and yes there is very noticeable increase on the but dyno.

So you can FEEL the difference, just not on paper?
