AS ITBs2K stated, spark plug defoulers are your best bet. As long as your O2 sensor receives less carbon particles you should be fine.

You're welcome. Just for future reference I am going to go into a little detail about CEL just in case anyone else who visits this thread has questions about it.

When an S2000 is fresh from the factory it is engineered to function a certain way, producing a certain amount of carbon particles that will register to the O2 sensor before they leave the exhaust. When you install a HFC or test pipe, and even certain types of headers, more carbon particles will register through the O2 sensor. Basically your car is being tricked.

More than likely nothing is wrong with your car.

Since you have more free flow, more carbon particles are being registered and your car thinks that something is abnormal. For about $15-$20 you can get a spacer that places the O2 sensor farther away from where it is suppose to be. All this does is allow less carbon particles to register so your car thinks that everything is back to normal.

So in a sense you are tricking an already tricked sensor . If anyone wants to elaborate on this please do.

I am familiar with CEL problems in this aspect but I am sure that their are others who have it broken down to a science.

My brother and I made my exhuast for my car. I took the stock OEM exhuast and cut the mufflers off and used the piping from the cat all the way to where I had cut. I than had to buy mufflers that had to be small enough to fit in the rear bumper since there alot less space than OEM. My father had some left over piping from his exhuast he made for his supercharged blown 1932 coupe so that helped me out also. We measured and fitted numerous time and welded the exhaust together piece by piece and came out like this.

Its just as quite as OEM at Idle even with my TWM ITBs, but when I give it gas it has a nice deep roar. Not high pitch which I am super happy about.

All in all I was overall happy with it and it didnt cost me a fortune to make. Ill prolly be getting custom Ti tips made for it later this year.

Is that an authentic kit?
