What is your opinion on the AMUSE trunk compared to the ASM? Quality, fitment, styling design, etc..

I cannot deny that ASM has some of the highest quality aero parts available for the S2000. I also say the same about Amuse.

In terms of design, I prefer Amuse. As you can see, Amuse removed the rear center brake light and integrated somewhat of a duckbill design spoiler in its place.

As far as fitment goes, from what I have experienced, both are top notch and fit just as well if not better than OEM.

For quality in terms of functionality, both are actually around the same weight; as I mentioned earlier Amuse actually has an integrated duckbill spoiler design on their trunk which does create a little bit more down force. ASM has a similar duckbill spoiler option for their trunk but it is sold separately.

Overall both are great companies, I have great respect and love for ASM and their capabilities for the S2000. In my eyes, what makes Amuse such a unique company is their sense of versatility when it comes to tuning cars. Their S2000 Touge Monster was unmatched and unchallenged for quite some time; also, most tuning companies that work on the R35, such as Mines and Zele, cannot beat the record that Amuse set with their R35 almost a year ago. After learning more about Amuse and their history, I believe that Amuse truly has an understanding on how to maximize the overall operations and mechanics of almost any car.

One quick side note -
When I first started working with Bulletproof I saw your car on display at the lobby while I was making some runs for the office; great job on the S2000.

If you've talked to Hunter, in my opinion you've spoken w/ one of the best. Had it not been for his vast knowledge of Amuse products and his willingness to answer as many questions as I could throw his way (and I asked alot!), I would not have made the purchases I made. I'm currently awaiting (and anticipating) the arrival of March 26th and 27th when I'm having a Amuse R1 Extra exhaust, high flow cat, and R1 header installed.

Having only "heard" of Powerhouse Amuse before and being new to the S2000 community, I needed all the help and advice I could get. After doing much research myself pertaining to Amuse, ASM, and Tracy Sports (all of which are amazing companies as well), I made the decision to go all Amuse. Now, the pitifull thing is that I'm giddy as a school girl and can't concentrate on anything not pertaining to my damn install!!!!

You can +1 for me on Amuse products as well. I have the R1 header and R1 Titan exhaust on my S2. Even got a ticket for having a loud exhaust in Virginia a couple years ago...but its worth it.
(Ticket me all they want, I'm not switching back)

I am a little embarrassed to say but I am unfamiliar with the terms IOP or NIOP. What I can say is that your friends GT1 S2000, I believe we helped him build that car.

Here is a link to Ben Schaffer's blog about his car:
