Problems with Amuse exhaust
Hi guys,
Could you please chime in on the thread below and give details about your problems with the Amuse muffler. I am speaking to the owner of Amuse to discuss some of the problems with their dual system mufflers.
If anyone knows of any owners with trouble with their Amuse, please forward this link to them.

From other topic:
Exhaust type:Amuse R1000 Turbo Race Exhaust
Date of purchase:April 2006
Mileage since installation:8,000
Type of driving: (e.g. any track days?)Daily driven. no track days.
Problem:Muffler tip touches rear bumper...but just by a hair...enough to cause a melted spot on the inner part of the exhaust opening on the bumper.
Comments:I love the exhaust. Very light and sounds great. Had a bit of a fitment issue but after fussing around with it, i got it right. Although i have no idea on how to get the exhaust away from the bumper.
Another thing im worried about is the springs that hold the slip fit part of this exhaust. It seems at a certian rpm these vibrate violently(you can hear from inside the car)and i can see some wear on the brackets that hold them...i hope they stay together =(

Yes I had that same problem with the melting of the rear bumper! The only fix is an aftermarket bumper or to precut yours. I haven't had any problem with rattleing. I had a custom exhaust bracket made and they did an outstanding job, so I attribute my no noise to that.
