This doesn't belong in Site Info. Moving to the JDM forum. Maybe someone there has a clue.

if i remember correctly you have to write to them saying why and how are you going to promote their product and stuff and you have to send them pictures and they they perfer pictures of your car in shows. this is what my friend did. plus the S has been out for a while so don't count on full sponsorship maybe partial if your lucky

It has to be worth their while. I wouldnt plan on getting a full sponsorship unless you are in a booth at a high end show like SEMA or IAS. If you put together a nice proposal you might have a chance at getting a partial sponsorship. I think that a good proposal with good pictures is key.

I tried. They said they only sponsor cars competing at a pro level.

Anything is possible. Its all about how your car looks and how you are going to promote their product in the aftermarket scene whether it be nationally recognized magazines, drift shows, track competition, or car shows. Any one of them will suffice but its up to them. Your car may look nice to you but they may think it looks like pooh and vice versa.

Its about how you write your proposal and if it will benefit them really. Plus like others have said the car has been out for awhile and you probably wont get a sponsorship for Tein since they probably filled their S2k quota a couple years ago. Good luck. Also if you are lucky enough to pick up a sponsorship with anyone be prepared to sign a contract stating in some instances, that you have to run the product for a minimum of 12 months or longer. Just an FYI. I had to sign one for my Endless sponsorship package twice.

why get sponsored?

tein is fairly priced, just buy the stuff out right and you can do what ever you want to your car...

if you want a suspension sponsorship try for a good company like zeal

Don't think about what the company is going to do for you (give you free stuff). Think about what you are going to do for them and if you think it is worth the cost of their product.
