Hmm well i might buy the J's racing Type V hood off a member of this site and i was just wondering how can you tell if your getting the real deal or some knock off crap?

Well first off, they only make a replica of the J's Racing Type-S CFRP Hood. They make a replica that is similar to the J's type V, but it is their Mugen hood. What is the point to make similar hoods that are fake when you make one already similar.

Secondly make sure you know what you are getting they make 3 different versions on the type V which are FRP, CFRP, and full carbon!

PS let me know if you deal falls through I am selling a Type V CFRP.

 

Hmm is there like a badge or anything...im sure i won't be able to tell by just looking at it.. So any kind of identification on it?

 

You can tell a knock off from a real hood. There is a big difference in quality

 

There should be a j's racing gold badge - under the hood side

 

Real J's hoods have bigger fins for the vents than the mugen/mugen copy.
