i searched hytech header on here a while back, just got alot of negative feedback about the company, as good as their product, what i read was pretty bad. maybe they got better ...

i also see you have an ap2, and you dyno'ed at 237, with a j's exhaust and test pipe, you stating you cant get around 260 since your saying hytech is better?

I thought hytech was really hard to get in touch with and ended up cancelling like 15 orders?

Well, we all know what opinions are like...

I personally have not one bad thing to say about Hytech, they delivered everything as promised and I made a ton of power, especially for what little is actually done to the engine. John's headers have dominated formula ford and Toyota Atlantic for years now, quality well engineered parts hands down. Everything is designed for for the intended build. If you are supercharged, you get a different header build, if you have different goals and intentions, you will get a different build. Nothing he does is cookie cutter, pretty much each header builds is unique depending on what you are doing.

I don't know anything about that, but if Hytech did I am sure they had a good reason and handled it professionally. Hytech is not a big company, every header is hand fabricated. You get what you pay for and what you wait for.

well i dont know what to tell you in regards to that. I personally spoke to John on my "first phone call" told him what i was looking for and he personally invited down to the shop to check his work out. Im going friday and will be placing an order for a header and a single 70mm exhuast. Also if i told you i had a negetive experence with Evasive motorsports while everyone else is saying they are so good etc. who would you believe? have i had a bad experience with them? YES i have and IMo its all about what you put in to it and how you research the company for your self and what you think is acceptable and whats not acceptable. I will be more than happy to post my results once everything is completed for my set up
