Spoon Caliper 60mph-0 distance?
I don't think they stop your car any faster than stock. You can have the fattest brake kit in the world but what slows you down ultimately is the coefficient of friction between your tires and the surface of the road. So I suppose the real question is, what kind of tires do you have?
This is definitely something I wouldn't argue in court.

LOL, this isn't my argument in court. I was just covering all possible factors and then will choose the best and relevant information to defend my case. There was a lot more to it than a cop just watching traffic and pulling over the most dangerous driver. In fact he was still out of his vehicle citing another driver as I passed him, 5 lanes over in the #1 lane, he gathered all this information within a split second. I guess I was that much of a threat for him to chase after me. Theres more math and physics that can also be applied, as well as other vehicles passing on the other 4 lanes to the right because the car in front of me was impeeding traffic, but my show car and the amount of money and time I spent into this car is not worth to tailgate. And theres more information than that.
BTW, my tires are Toyo Proxes R888s, 225/45/17 255/40/17 with about 2000 miles on them.

dont forget to metionn that your car is boosted.
BTW my boost was legal, then he went back to his car to get a tape measure and banged me for my car being too low as well.
I guess thats proper procedure for a car following too closely.

As soon as he pulled me over he wanted to know what engine modifictions are done and to pop my hood. What does that have to do with following too closely?

tailgating here is an 8 point ticket, is that what you got?
spoon brakes should be better than the oem 60-0.

Is anything lower than stock considered illegal?

I'm not sure what an 8pt ticket is. All I know is that it is an infraction and this it will be 1 point on the DMV record and insurance will increase.
