I've been wondering the same thing -- it just seems unreasonable that the engine in this car would move enough to need a shock absorber on it, unless you're putting down a ton more power than stock...

Believe me, it does what it says it does! I have the one from J's Racing and the power is immediately tranfered to te rear and feels like a kick! You step on the throttle and you have immediate power transfer! Plus the shifts are smoother.

i would think it works. i was watching my shifter the other day while modulating the throttle and the shifter moves around alot.. if it makes for smoother shifting i'd be worth the money to me.

With the right tools the STB/ETD combo should take about 10-20 minutes.

This piece IMO is for the older S2ks with over 100,000 miles or the owners that want more engine stability with high RPM shifts.

I have 67000 miles and have had one for a couple years and sold it a month ago. So this past month I didnt have one and really, to be honest, noticed next to nothing. My shifter still sits like its frozen solid (at idle) and my engine sits like its brand new even without the ETD. So is it worth it? I really dont know, now. Its up to you. Good thing is its only $200. So its not a real pricey killer.

Quick pic of the Js...It looks nice.

Spoon just released their new ETD and the 2.2L engine has been out for a few months already. The ETD is made for RHD S2000 so it will not apply to LHD.
I was thinking about this but dosent the motor sit the same way in the lhd as the rhd? Or do they put it on the manifold side?
