Default spoon/project mu bbk

anywho, im not really sure where this went and ive done some research but honestly.. i really dislike the search engine on s2ki...

alright here it goes..

im looking into a bbk. please none of that jjust get lines and pads blah blah blah..

so im looking for weight/performance/cost.

for instance..

what does the oem caliper/rotor set up weigh?

whats the weight of a spoon/project mu set up?

also, compared to the stoptech and brembo, etc..

If you track the car I would not consider anything other than the Spoon calipers because of the cost of replacement rotors with the BBK's.

That is true. I have J's BBK in my car, after one event, I will need to replace the rotors & pads and they cost me an arm and a leg to replace them.

Spoon is a better bet. You keep the OEM size rotors and pads which you can find cheaper replacements when they worn out.

As I have said , if you want serious braking performance then consider PMU.

Hi, I'm curious on the PMU kit's "serious braking performance"

I've heard that the calipers can be quite heavy but is the braking force really that impressive (the setup might be lighter with the spoon bbk yes?) ? your review is much appreciated.

Yeah, that is one reason i wanted to go with the spoon set up. weight + cost + performace.

but as for PMU, i was mostly interested in the SCR rotors they offer to go along with the spoon calipers.

has anyone had experience with this set up?!
