I got frustrated and took it off. I didnt change anything. Weird.

 

you sure you didnt leave any tools under the hood.

 

Any weird bulges in the hood area?

 

is it the windshield wiper squirter cable hanging in the wrong place?

don't give up, this should be a very simple troubleshoot.

 

Not sure where you bought it but I would be glad to help.

I've sold and installed these with no trouble at all. No modifictions were needed. Make sure you got the mounts on the right way.

Take a pic and we can compare.


Here is how it should mount.

 

I've installed a few Spoon strut bars with no problems.

 

had the same problem. my mounts were switched. it should be the same as on the pic.
