Im almost positive once you torch somthing, you cant re-torch it down the line for more blue effect.

Is there a certain type of torch that you're supposed to use? I have a propane torch but I'm not sure if it'll be hot enough.

i have the T1R T182 knob. i bought it when it was the very light blue as shown on the ajr site.

i asked them to make it "bluer" for me, and this is what it came out like.

Thanks for the info guys. I didn't clean it the first time so I guess that I was my mistake. Any suggestions on what type of torch? Standard home depot propane torch, MAP gas, oxy?

you don't use heat to color the titanium, you use electrolytic methods.

or an easier, and cooler method

just polish it with a buffing wheel and make sure you clean it well with some degreaser and make sure not to put your finger prints on it then start from the top with a torch and once its the color you want it let it cool down and pick it up
Is that an oem knob on the right?
