Springs or Coilovers
I want to drop my car, MY02 is starting to look high to me with 2 inch gaps between wheels and fender. I dont know if i should go with just Eibach springs or get tein flex's. Would getting just springs be a good idea? would i have to replace my shocks?
How much money are you willing to spend??? After a while your OEM shocks will blow out so you might as well replace them. For the price of Koni shocks you will be halfway to a set of coilovers. I personally dont have the patience to mess with each corner so I went with a drop spring/koni shock setup. The koni shocks are adjustable by 1/2 inch so with my springs right now I am lowered 1.3" or I can go to 1.8 inches if I desire.
^ I've had Koni + Eibach in the past. Great street setup.
But I'm curious, why would you constantly have to adjust you're coilovers. Really, I've never heard of anyone going back to a shock/spring setup from coilovers.

I had the eibachs as temporary solution. But now I had decided to go with Tein Flex+EDFC and will get them fitted next week. My Eibachs will be for sale together with my OEM suspension.
My suggestion (even though am trying to sell the Eibachs) is to get coilovers than springs. Just my honest opinion. No problems with the Eibachs. They give an 1" drop all around and plenty confidence while cornering on high speeds.
But again... Coilovers is the right way to go!
