how about posting up photos of the hood itself for us to see? I have no discoloration in mine

 

on my buddies eclipse the heat from his engine and turbo discolored the front of his hood, the sun and constant heat can cause discoloration and cracks from my experience !

 

it's not discoloring the hood, it's the glaze that is being put over the carbon that is being discolored most likely. the underside of the hood is an frp shell while the top part is carbon fiber. if it is fading noticeably, i call replica.
