Thumbs up Test Pipes for MY06

I know this has been discussed many times and I know someone will say to search. Well, I have. I've searched and found no straight answer. I'm interested in purchasing a test pipe and was concerned about throwing a CEL, especially since I have an 06. I've been looking at the J's and T1R specifically and noticied that neither come with a CEL fix. I've seen where some people have used O2 sim's and have still gotten CEL's. This isn't something I want to have to deal with if I get a TP. So, what's the best solution for this problem? If people with 06's could chime in that would be great. Thanks.

some guy in the s2000 talk forum put some steel wool (i think its called)
inside the antifouler/mechanical simulator. and he claims that he has seen no more CELs.

i ordered a Berk Tech high flow metal cat. i haven't received it yet but i think it's a great option for what you're considering.

i priced Random Tech's metal cat and it was almost double Berk's price.

Berk Cat is a good option. Difference between that and a TP is 1-2 HP at most.

Unless your pushing big FI power I'd do that Berk Hi-flow cat.

Well the thing I liked about the J's and T1R pipes was having the ability to swap out the OEM cat heatshield to the test pipe. It's pretty much the whole reason I'm just buying a test pipe instead of a headerback. I'm trying to keep my warranty.

Like I said, I'm not going to deal with a CEL. I just have a hard time believing that an O2 sim wouldn't work. That's why I want someone with a CEL free test pipe to chime in.

Berk's FTW! Not JDM, but works perfectly.
