You guys do know that your car is in safe mode with the cel right? You're not getting the maximum performance out of your car.

not true that o2 sensor makes no adjustments to air or fuel. it only sees if the cat is working. nevertheless i will answer your question. go to autozone and buy a pack (they come with two) spark plug anti foulers. take a 3/8 inch drill bit and drill out on of them to where the whole is flush and you can see threw it. screw that one over the o2 sensor. then take the one you did not drill through and screw it over the fouler on the o2sensor. then screw the o2 sensor into the test pipe. resest ecu and you should be golder

i put on the invidia test pipe last wednesday and have driven a little over 500 miles and still no CEL **knock on wood*

Very strange the sound that it is making though. The exhaust air is hitting the testpipe which makes that tin can sound. If the testpipe was thicker, I think it would eliminate it. Silverbullet is going to try and use heat wrap or something and see if it eliminates it.

On my 02, with the stock exhaust with testpipe, it sounds like a hollow sound like the G35/350Z. I guess with the increase in displacement, it makes a different sound? well i don't know. I'll post up a video soon.

the header wrap didn't help any. now i thinking the tin can sound is developed pass the tp but i'm really not sure - like more air hitting the stock resanator or that little rectangluar box welded off the side of the mid-pipe. or because of the smaller hstock piping size or something.

not true. that's if the primary sensor blows. even with the primary 02, only the part throttle a/f is effected. for part throttle driving and with a functional primary, the ecu will constantly adjust the fuel and other variables to maintain a steady ideal 14:1 a/f. For WOT conditions the ecu does not use feedback from the 02, if reads values from a predefined table to maintain a safe a/f.

For WOT the ecu always commands a fixed a/f by reading fixed values from a base table. that's why peeps with aggressive mods have to re-tune the a/f with piggyback controllers or AEM's programmable ecu.

we are playing with the secdary 02 which has ZERO effect on performance. the only problem is that with the cel on all the time, it prevents us from seeing other cels unless we use a scan tool regularly. but so far i've made to ~500 with no cel....

very easy to do...I have over 15K miles and no check engine light..BTW i'm running the single 70mm T1R exhaust with 70MM T1R test pipe!
