- i'm down with the gear thing and would love to do it - but think i this is a little extreme for me - is there even a speedo fix for the '07?

- for the record i put the lid back on.

- i'm going with a 70mm single exhaust (to bolt up to my 70mm tp). what about an invidia? price is right and i like loud so that's not an issue for me - just like a good note. i had a comptech on my rsx and loved the note - it was loud too. it's ashame comptech is not around any more - i'd love to have a 70mm comptech single. thought about looking for a comptech fart can and doing a custom deal.

how about fitment. i know the invidia is a straight deal. but does angled vs stright matter as far as gains?

It's not an issue of flow that results in the loss of power, it's the heatsoaking. The airbox lid helps to prevent the heatsoak so I would definitely put it back on. Although I suppose it ultimately depends on what you want more... power or sound.

The T1R 70mm made the biggest difference when I was all stock. Nice sound and improved throttle response.

1. 70MM
2. Header (Toda, Mugen 2.2L or Tracy Sports). You need one of these for the header reflash. The Js is a good header too, but I don't think it would work with the hondata reflash as well as these three.
3. CAI
4. Header Reflash

the reflash used the toda header as their benchmark.

however, the other components you add (CAI, 70mm) will effectively change the tune more than getting a different header than the toda, so it probably isnt very important as long as it makes power.
