Default Toda Exhaust

Does anyone have the Toda exhaust or know of a picture of it installed. I think its a really good looking exhaust and the sound clip from the website sound good although there is some wind noise, but after doing some searching, I cant seem to find any images of it installed or anyone with it.

I have the Toda exhaust, but I cant post pics sorry. There is a pic in the gallery. I think the thread is "post pics of your exhaust" or something like that.

The exhaust does look great on the car and is pretty quiet with very little drone. With a test pipe it does get a little louder, but well worth it weight is 27lbs. a little under half the weight of the OEM unit.

The only downside is it is somewhat hard to find. Toda does not stock the item on a regular basis. I believe it is special order only so there may be a wait.

I did not notice a big difference in power with the Toda (or any of the exhaust systems I have tried so far. I have had three exhausts on the S. These are my driving impressions of them:

Magnaflow Ti (JIC Ti replica) single outlet = Great weight savings (only about 9lbs.) was the 2nd loudest of the three and it kept breaking on me (resonator seperated from the piping). It sounded great, but had poor build quality in my opinion. Power band was smooth all the way. similar to stock feel.

Invidia Dual SS/ with Ti tips = sounded like full race car and seemed to flow the best of all three, but car lagged a little off the line. High end of the RPM range was . Downside around So Cal its a ticket waiting to happen (unless silencers are installed, but the car lags with them in )

Toda Dual SS/Ti = Car actually seems to have better throttle response then the Invidia, but the high end feels a little bit weaker.

All in all I am really happy with the overall performance of the Toda (Construction, Performance, weight savings, and sound ) This will be the last exhaust I purchase for the S.

Remember these are my experiences and the tool used was a butt dyno (I did not dyno the car) the only mod on the car besides exhaust was a K&N FIPK intake at the time
