it's commendable wat bulletproof tried to do to help the guy out but how are they an "authorized dealer" if they can't even get Varis to stand behind their parts? it seems like Varis is using them only as a means to get their parts to america. Even in the event that you should be unsatisfied by your purchase in anyway (bad fitment, poor weave) it's up to bulletproof not Varis to remedy the problem.
Eh, I think unless we have an omniscient point of view and know the entire story from all sides, a judgment of business ethics will be hard to make in terms of Varis sticking to their policy. However, in this particular case, the buyer does not have a strong case for any type of warranty help. Based on his description of how the crack formed (basically out of nowhere), I think even a U.S. based company would have a hard time helping him out. Unless he has substantial proof that the crack formed on its own and was due to a defect, then he’d still have to pay for a replacement or repair on his own. Whether Varis has a good overseas sales policy is a different story.
