I made 219 without the VAFC..... when i had my VAFC i only hit 217whp, seems the longer i used the vafc the less of a differance it made, even if i reset the ECU daily

yea in the VAFC you can set it to only correct at 99% TPS, that is WOT.

even if you are tuned for only WOT i would still reset the ECu everyone couple weeks, just for shits. I mean depending on how much you go WOT the ecu might be able to correct over the VAFC's settings, over long periods of time, even tho on WOT your are in open loop

Will this happen if I tune with an eManage instead of a VAFC?

I dont think that is possible since the VAFC is a piggy back, and the emange is ECU.

But I could be wrong lets wait till BlownAP2 or LagunaS2K answers, there pretty sharp.

Hmm I bet there is a lot more tuning capabilities witht the e-manage, Do you have bolt ons? What gain have they told you you might be at?

E-manage (blue) and E-manage Ultimate are both piggy back systems. it basically intercepts signals like the VAFC but it is more advance as it can compensate and calculate for it's self. Unlike the VAFC it's basically and +/- system so if the ECU calibrates well the changes u made would have to be corrected. The E-manage Ultimate will adapt according to change but it's not as flexible as the OEM ECU it's more like +/- 3-5% maybe?

The E-manage Blue is a waste of time it lacks allot of things so the only thing i would talk about or promote is the Ultimate.
