As posted in https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=33471 .

Some interesting discussion of these settings in that thread as well.

Note: VTECnology recently posted that these NEW settings (near below) supercede his earlier settings (far below)

[B]I just got my car dynoed today at DynoSpot. Go fast mods are: Injen CAI, HKS exhaust, and Denso plugs. Base run: 195.0 HP/ 134.1 lb. tq. >> Tuned: 201.7 HP/ 137.0 lb. tq. for a total of 5 runs. I have about 5 more HP and TQ. throughout the curve. The most significant gains are at 8 1/2 to 9 K, I gained about 20 HP there. My V-TEC was changed to 5800. I'm cool about everything and all but I noticed that my low cam settings were not touched at all. Everything was set to zero. Did I get cheated or something? That buck eighty-five is pretty damn steep knowing that the Lvt was not fiddled with. Can someone who got dynoed at DSR please post your settings. Damn, it sucks knowing that your car has soo much more potential . . . Oh yeah, here are my settings.

[B]To anyone that has been following my performance uprgrade installs, knows that I have been frustrated as heel with some of the results that I have had with some parts. This last install is the most impressive results that I have had since the install of my Injen intake. RECAP: what I had so far before this last install was, a Spoon exhaust, spoon throttle body, and injen intake. My base HP to the wheels was 187.5 RWHP and 128.0 Trq.With teh install of the intake, it bumped up to 199.3 HP, and 137.0 Trq respectively. Soon after that I bought and installed the spoon N1, and Spoon Throttle body and only netted 3.3hp gain wich was very disappointing, HOWEVER when I had my car dynoed ti was infact drizzling rain outside. I had no idea the affects that the rain might have on the intake until I had my car dynoed one more time before the install of the VAFC. This time that weather was dry and beautiful. The results netted ANOTHER 6.0 hp gain bringing the total HP to 208.6 hp and 143.1 Trq without changing anything except the weather. So now here I am getting the Apex i VAFC installed and tunned. I get my car back after 5 hours of install and tunning and find myself with an output of 217.4 RWHP and 147.6 Trq. I'm happy with these results as these were teh kind of results that I was expecting. Dyno sheets is below including install location. I decided that I would share with you these results since I was very disheartened about my previous resluts as I am sure many of you have been with some of your install experiences. The fact of the matter still remains. As Beig has always said. It is very difficult to squeeze anythign out of this engine, but at the same time I believe that with reasonable expectations, and ALOT of patience, anyone can tield SOME resluts from this engine.

Make sure that the setting following the one you are trying to change is not higher, otherwise it will not let the rpm at that point be set higher. It fooled me for a second too, but it makes sense cause the rpms have to keep going up. Hope this helps
