Default The Ultimate Wheel Specs

I would like to know the best wheel specs for our car, (17x9 & 18x10 front & rear or whatever). Does anyone know the best performing size wheels height and width wise??? (Not interested in brands, just sizes)
Thanks in advance

Maybe more information would help, like best sizes for no modifications to the body, or best sizes for the car w/ extensive mods to the body. Example, smaller widths and higher offsets might be "best" for people with stock bodies because they might not want to roll their fenders, whereas a "better" size for the car might be race spec wheels and tires which would require wide fenders or other modifications. And what is best for one person is not best for another (even though you asked what is best for the CAR), so you might want to list what you plan on doing (track/autox/daily drive) so someone here can help you better.

I mean what would be the best if money wasn't a problem (the wheels come first and foremost, and rolling the fenders, getting a wide body kit, etc. come later to suit the needs of the wheels).

This is for street & sometimes track

I know this is kind of a technical question, but all I'm looking for is maybe a general idea.
