Default Varis

Has anyone had any experience with their products? I'm concerned about quality/fiment. I haven't really heard of them (as much as I have of C-West or Mugen etc).

I am interested in the FRP version of the GT Fender Kit. Is anyone running this? I might be the first to. How much does it widen the front? Also any other pics then whats on the BP site?

Mike

Hmm, there has been mixed opinions about their quality, although I'm not sure those opinions have been based off first hand knowledge. I too am debating the use of wider front fenders (the need for more rubber and someday more brakes). J's Racing is at the top of my list, but Varis is also a top option. ASM is out of my price range, and I'm not a fan of unpainted CF, so CWest might also be out of the question. That said, sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet and be the guniea pig. Good luck.

Chris has painted his Cwest fenders.

I'm aware of this, the problem is the amount of money it would cost me (someone w/ no discount) to have them painted. I think he said without his discount, it would have costed someone $2100 to have it done right. I could have a set of ASM fenders for that much.

Hmmm...I see. I was actually inspired by you car, JsAP1. I was browsing the BP site and I saw the Varis GT kit for an attainable price. However, after reading these posts I think im just going to stick to stock

BTW, how do you like your Aragosta suspension? I am currently looking at Mugen NZ.

VARIS quality is some of the highest of anything that we import. We decided to take on VARIS as a product line that we distribute after seeing the quality first hand and visiting their manufacturing plant in Japan. VARIS produces for many Japanese companies and also does OEM work with Toyota Japan.

The fitment of the VARIS fenders should be equal or better than ASM, C-West or J's.

Plus I have one set in stock ready for shipment (in FRP with the carbon covers).

Ahhhh Ben...i'm going to go broke or crazy (or both).

How much do they widen the front? Do you have any S2000 customers running them?

approx ~15mm or so per side - its kind of tough to measure.

We sent one set out, but have not gotten pics back from the customer yet
