Default Why does my exhaust sound like this?

I have a nice deep sounding single Apexi N1, and it sounds great down low and mid range, but kinda raspy up high past vtec. Why does it sound kinda raspy up high? My exhaust was custom made, so maybe they did a shitty job at the welding parts? I dunno. Or is it normal to sound kinda raspy up high with these singles?

damn it! I knew I shouldn't have gotten the Apexi from my friend! No wonder he gave me a good deal on it! Are Apexi's known to decrease power since the canister is so damn big?
