I bought this cyl head to replace the one on my car, as the front ears where the timing cover mounts broke off my oem head. However I ended up getting a complete new engine before I ever got around to putting it on. This is off of a 2001 with about 20k on the head. It's been sitting in my garage for a year or two now, and I finally decided I don't need a spare head anymore... When I purchased it I cleaned it up, and had it re-surfaced and ready to mount on my car. I was planning to do some port work on it, but never got any further than removing some casting imperfections from the intake side. All the combustion chambers have been cleaned from carbon buildup and head is LIKE NEW. As you can see from the photos cam surface wear is almost non-existent. Head is NOT warped in any way, and I don't recall the specific amount of material removed when it was decked, but I do recall it was so minuscule as to not even be relevant. If your looking for a complete ready to bolt on head this is it. All you would need to do is give it a good cleaning, as its been sitting in my garage, and it's ready to go. Some parts are removed and not shown such as the front gear, and the cam chain tensioner (which is brand new) etc.. These are included just not shown, head is complete, missing nothing. I also have a valve cover, and OEM intake manifold I can include at an additional cost.
