OR - engine block and head
NAME: Aaron
LOCATION: Bend, OR
PRICE: I have no idea what this is really worth so I'm throwing out a start of $2k for everything. Feel free to make offers
SHIPPING: Buyers expense or pick up.
All parts are off my 07 - engine/head are F22C.
Would rather not part but willing to consider it if there is enough interest or if people are willing to split it all out.
My engine started having an oil pressure issue and developed a rattle. I stopped driving in right away and after talking to my mechanic he recommended sourcing a new engine vs rebuilding it because he didn't have the knowhow and his health was declining. No shops in my area are really qualified to do a full engine rebuild anyway. I sourced a new one and my guy was able to swap it before finally succumbing to cancer. RIP. Because of this we never got into the source of the rattle though I suspect it may have been a rod bearing. The rattle was not constant and not excessively loud. There were no major shavings in the pan, but there was noticeable metallic residue in the oil. Because the rattle was so sporadic and there were no actual shavings, I suspect the bearing may have split, but did not fully spin on itself.
The block is otherwise in fantastic shape with no scores on the cylinders and has only 30k miles on it.
The head is nearly perfect and has 48k miles on it
Valves are all in great condition, rockers and everything included.
Valve cover can be included if desired. Have stock header as well.
Basically what you have here is the perfect start point for a new stroker build or something that would have a replacement crank/rods anyway.
As I mentioned, I have only a vague idea of what this kind of stuff would be worth so feel free to make offers. Worst I can say is no.
More pics available on request.

Forgot to mention that. Whoops.
It's all from an 07 F22C.
I'm not sure how much extra it would entail but I'm willing to entertain the idea.

That's a good start. Can you post pictures of the bores?
Can you get a quote for shipping to Southampton, United Kingdom?

I wish I could say if it would work or not. I just don't know what (if any) swapping would be needed.
Realistically if you end up using it for a different build like a stroker kit, you'd need a different ecu regardless
