F/S: ARC intake - back up for sale
For sale is my ARC intake that I bought last year. here's a picture of how it use to look:
Notice that there is a wear mark from the hood on the smaller induction chamber. Since then, my car was in a wreck. There was no damage to the intake, but oil was spilled on the filter, so it's slightly darker in one area (not brown, just darker). Also, since then, it's been debadged except for the green/white/red sticker on the induction box. It's also missing the original hose couplings that came with it. I bought some black ones to replace it, but the one that goes to the intake manifold is too short, so you'll have to buy another one.
Needless to say, it's not in "mint" condition. Both items sell for $700. I'm selling both for $350 firm plus $20 shipping (continental US only). that's half the price. It can ship out by the end of next week b/c I'm using it in a car show this weekend and still waiting to take delivery of my new intake. I'll also have pics up later on tonight. PM for any questions.
UPDATE: Here are some pics of the way the intake looks now. I painted it black to match my current color scheme and was going to strip it down and just shine it up before I sold it, but decided against it. The aluminum is not sanded below the paint so it would be real easy to get it to look like new. Because I don't have the longer coupling that goes to the intake manifold, I just hooked up the box with the stock intake tube.
Here's a pic of the intake chamber. The coupling that needs to be replaced is the one on top. I'll include the existing one in the package though. The coupling on the left is just fine. (sorry for the blurry pic).
For $350, this is a deal. you can make this look like brand new for very little money and have a rare intake. Paypal preffered, continental US ONLY.
