The story. A few years ago, my plan was to buy a S2K with a damaged motor and transmission for a bargain price. But the window has passed me by as there are no more bargain priced S2Ks. I’m selling my parts hoard and will find another project:
Item 1 - $1950 CDN
2001 AP1 engine and transmission pair. The mileage was said to be 130K km. It also includes the starter, alternator, engine brackets and engine harness. The transmission includes the shift lever, flywheel, pressure plate, clutch disc and slave cylinder. This was originally bought from an auto wrecker by an enthusiast who was going to put it into a Corolla. The oil pan was slightly modified to fit the Corolla cross member.
Item 2 - $1950 CDN
2001 AP1 Engine and transmission pair. The mileage was said to be under 120K km. The transmission VIN does not match the engine VIN but decodes as a 2001. This comes with starter, alternator, water pump, A/C compressor, engine brackets and engine harness. The transmission includes the shift lever, transmission beam, flywheel, pressure plate, clutch disc and slave cylinder. This was originally bought from an enthusiast who discovered oversteer on a rainy night.
Item 3 - $550 CDN
2001 AP1 exhaust manifold, propeller shaft, steering rack complete with torque sensor and outer tie rods, a complete steering column assembly with ignition switch and OEM key and ECU. Also included is a 2000 AP1 transmission. The shift lever housing plate is not included but a shift lever is included
Big discount if you buy all 3 items.

I am Interested in the Engine, i had msged you earlier I can sort out shipping. Need to know a few details, has the engine been opened before?
Any damages / internal changes (bearings, rods, pistons etc). Any idea on the compression of the cylinders?
Kindly advise
Warm Regards

Hi, each engine and transmission pair is $1950 CDN with local pick-up only. I will not ship. At this time, I'm not going to separate or part out sub assemblies. Both engine and transmission pairs have been in storage for the last 5 years so I do not have the compression numbers. I was told they were both running when removed from the cars. From looking at the engine, one has not been apart and the other had the oil pan off to modify the oil pan to fit a Corolla. Neither transmission has been apart.
Cheers
