In fact, our time attack cars do not have a harness bar, they are installed just like the Takata instructions. I know our STi was originally setup by one of the Japan rally drivers from Cusco and he did it that way.

Be sure to have the correct angle when installing them and follow the directions on their site.

Hope that helps to clear the questions up a bit.
what about the body of the driver not being mobile in the event of a rollover? wouldn't the harness keep his body from docking and therefore keeping his head from taking the hit against the road?
