Default IA: Bilstein PSS9 with 12k/10k Swift Springs

First Name: Patrick
Price: $900 shipped SOLD!
Location: Des Moines, IA
Contact: pm or email at khaosman at gmail dot com
Trades: No trades except 17x9 STR offset (+60-62) wheels

I was going to have these revalved over the winter with A.R.E. but ended up buying some Koni DA shocks instead. I've put about 15k miles on these since I bought my S2000. Roughly 10k miles were with the Swift springs. They have worked great and it was a tough choice on revalving these or buying the Konis. I opted for the "easy" button and switched to the Konis.

The top hats are included, as are the original Bilstein springs and coilover wrenches (not pictured). If the buyer wanted to revalve these, I could ship them to their shock tuner to reduce your overall shipping costs.

Thanks for looking,

Patrick

How were these with the higher rates? Were they underdamped? Harsh? Bouncy?

It's a little stiffer, mostly noticeable on big bumps. Overall the ride quality is still very good, in my opinion.

Are these needing to be rebuilt ? What is wrong with them?

Thanks

No, these don't need a rebuild. They work fine, nothing wrong with them. I was just going to have them rebuilt as preventative maintenance and for better performance, according to the enthusiasts in the Racing & Competition forum (example: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/110...for-the-money/ )
