SOLD
Hello all,
I am the second owner of a set of used CR rims in good condition. I originally purchased them from another member in November 7, 2009 through the R&C forum through this thread:
Original Used Sale Post
I originally intended to run B-Stock (i.e. use stock rims for R-Comp tires and CR rims for street tires) in summer 2010 but I changed my mind and decided to run STR. So, I purchased a set of 6ULR rims from Emilio at 949racing. As a result, the CR rims sat in the garage unused since November 2009 and I need to make space.
This sale includes:
> Used front and rear CR rims
> Black Honda lug nuts
> Valve stems and TPMS
Asking: $750 USD OBO + shipping + paypal fee
Original purchase price $850 USD + shipping
Willing to ship in Canada and US. If you are serious, please PM me and I will obtain a quote from my local UPS Store.
When I originally received the set, I noted that one of the front rims had some pitting on it that did not show up in the original ad photos (photos below).
The rims:
Close ups of the pitting on the one rim (mentioned above):

Holy pitting Batman!! I can't believe that someone sold these to you without making it clear that there was pitting. Kudos to you for clearly noting it in your sell.

thanks guys.
I wish I knew prior to the original transaction but it is buyer beware. To his credit, the seller was prompt with correspondence and shipment.
In my mind, I would prefer to be upfront with all information as much as possible leading to the disclosure in my ad.

what is pitting? How did that happen?
I do not know how it happened, but I suspect it was due to gravel. That's my educated guess.
