Right rear quarter damage. Help me fund a new S2000 to get back on the track!

Looking for short or long block. (I don't know how to PM here.)
I spun a rod bearing for no apparent reason. 2001 F20 with 60M miles. A quality shop replaced that rod plus all the bearings and rings. The owner drove it gently for about 400 miles to break it in. The first time he put his foot in it--about 6500-7000 rpm--it spun the same bearing again.
We don't know the cause of either problem. There was plenty of oil both times and he has checked the oil pump and oil passages and said all is clear. Any ideas??

You should have your entire block re-machined by a reputable shop that specializes in s2000's. 99% of neighborhood mechanics can not handle this task.
