Default 2 Way Radios...

I need a new set of 2 way radios... what brands are people using on here and what's the average range. I'm wanting something with lots of clarity, good range, and plenty of strength... those mountain curves tend to block signals some. LOL

Love mine!! Haven't had an issue except I didn't secure one properly to the visor... And going around a turn it decided to fly out of the car lol. Couldn't find it tho.

Those^^^ are awesome . Bought mine for WTD this year and I did it off of dragon veterans recommendation. They are great. Don't even look anywhere else. Buy THOSE.

AND...follow up your purchase with these...

If you go back to the link for the radios, they have an offer to buy both. Do it! Way better then the ear piece that comes with the radio and much easier to hear others while driving. One touch operation, i attached the mic to my seatbelt on my chest.

^^^ agreed. Hand free in the curves is a must plus it makes it much easier to hear whats being said.

Just make sure you get highly rated ones.

I bought a pair from Walmart the morning of one of our Skyline Drives and they were unusable. I checked amazon's ratings for the pair I bought and it was only 1 star.

Get good ones.

Enjoy the drive.

This. I recently bought these radios and the headsets. Another user here, Aeonracer, and I tried them out recently with tops down. Definitely worth the money.
