Default Repaint options Sova Region

So basically i bought my s about 3 months ago and here in the sova region. Theres a bunch of dings here and there that are nitpicking at me so I'm deciding on a color to repaint it. also it seems like theres a lot of the silverstone colors so i wanna be a bit different. I see berlina blks a lot as well and the occasional spa yellows and formula reds. If you guys could post what you you see around a lot ill prolly end up picking the least seen lol. I was settled on the laguna blue pearl for a while then my mind went on to liking the uniqueness of the imola orange. So yeah let me know what you see often, or any reccomendations outside of the s2k colors.

I'd say come out to Cars and Coffee this Saturday in Va Beach and see what colors catch your fancy. I need to get a crease over a rear wheel arch fixed and a good bit of paint repair, so I may end up just repainting the whole thing eventually too. Not cheap, though! If you find a good price for a good shop around, let me know. What part of SoVa? I'm in Va Beach too. ^_^

But if you're going to repaint the whole thing, why go with a stock color? Oh, and I'd suggest investing in a clear 3M protector after it's done. That's my plan, since my bumper was repainted when I bought it and there are already some chips showing.

You guys should consider hitting up Rusty (rustybolt is his handle on this forum) once you pick your colors. He is not in SOVA, but is not unreasonably far from you guys (Harrisonburg VA). As another S2K owner and a painter by profession, he will do a great job for you and won't overcharge you for it. He did some paint work for me earlier this year, and it was definitely worth the trip down from NOVA to see him.

A lot of people down here, including a lot on this forum recommend Stock or Modified Bodyworks in Virginia Beach (Dam Neck area) for paint and body work. I was contemplating changing my car car to something custom about a year ago, but a quote of anywhere from $4500-$6000 from Stock or Modified quickly had me reconsidering that notion. I was going to go with something like the Blaze Orange Metallic that used to come on the RSX-S or a custom black cherry color just to be different.

At any rate, plenty of people on here can vouch for Stock or Modified, just be prepared to pay!

Were working on an exterior restoration on a porche.Nothing major. Fix every ding and scratch. I believe his total was around 6200. When it's finished it will be showroom quality .

I prolly will come out then. where will it be and at what time? I am in virginia beach. I went to a cars and coffee once a few weeks ago at around laskin road. Saw the owners of one of the first br-z and fr-s there. Its not that i want a stock color its more of i really like the color of the laguna blue pearl. If you have a suggestion to a particular color im all ears! Blue is definitely my favorite color though

I will definitely ask him about prices. I know a couple of places around here plus i have a roomate that works with honda so ill see what kind of deal he can get me. As i go around and get quotes from people ill be sure to update. I have to up to springfield to get to inline pro soon so i can get my car tuned so i might as well stop by rusty while i am up there thanks =D

I think I saw your car, actually, but was a bit shy. I had the AP1 Silverstone that was stock. Turbo with a blanket on it, and hood was popped, right? Should be Saturday, 7:30ish-9:30ish. Facebook Event
And yeah, the Laguna Pearl is pretty, but so is the Suzuka... I'm actually wondering about maybe getting a custom airbrush keeping it silverstone, but maybe having a few cherry blossoms drifting along the sides of the car... Dunno, other things on my list first.

Actually, Cherenkov blue is a really pretty shade of radioactive interaction...

The Stock or Modified quote I got included everything... door jambs, engine bay, body panels, etc. A full repaint, not just a MAACO once over.

The 6200 did not include door jams. He decided he want to stay black. He paid 550 for full wet sand and buff when were finished. Once again it should be show room quality when were finished.
