So BSR will require a S2000 to have another roll bar, but cars with pop-up ones are ok?

Yeah, that's pretty lame. I'm all about bars, but if pop-ups are allowed, the S's fixed structure should be good as well.

 

It's a head clearance issue. They feel the S's roll hoops are too low and that the pop-ups will go higher. I (and they probably) don't know if that's true.
