Not yet, but it doesn't have a roll bar.

I probably won't stay all day too. It's going to be pretty cold and cloudy and my guests are just riding along with me so it will be pretty slow. I'm going to try to do some skid pad too, but it looks like only the BSR cars will run on the skid pad.

Does NASA offer kart rentals? I'll need one with the metal band that goes completely around it.

It's an "arrive-n-drive." You use VIR's karts and yes, they have bumpers around them. I think I have a little bit of footage of us(Cale, George, Taylor, and me) from last February on youtube. Check under "FF2Skip." There can't be many of them.

Seems I'd be at a weight disadvantage, but it sounds like a blast.

Rob, I am probably not going to show up for the SATT tommorrow. Unless I just happen to wake up at 5AM in the morning and decide that I want to be standing at the side of the track in 20 degree weather.

Thanks for the heads up Pete. I'm still planning to attend, but probably for only two sessions. Brenda's brother is in town and wants a ride-along so all three of us are going out. I hope to get them some skid pad time too.

awwww, forecast says high of 35

nice cold air means more HP, i can let you use my tire warmers to keep your rubber from turning to rock.

can also bring the RV over to give us a place to hide if the wind chill starts to freeze us in place.

besides, think of the free lunch you will miss.
