Any autoxers interested in trying out an HPDE at the track? Mercedes is running in a 1 day HPDE on the Jefferson circuit for $150. Mercedes will be running this on April 30th (Saturday).

The Jefferson circuit is the smallest circuit at Summit Point. It is 1.1 mile circuit with 7 turns, essentially a really large, long autoX! Great way to try transition from autoX to track.

All beginner or novice track drivers will have in car instructor and you can expect about 1.5 hours of actual track seat time. The price is SIGNIFICANTLY less than the typical cost for a DE.

We are expecting about ~10 S2000s and will get a reserved paddock area set aside just for our cars.

PM me if interested.
Good deal. No roll bar required?

Well, Mercedes used to allow S2000s with just the OEM hoops. I believe that we are now requiring an external roll bar. I'll double check and post back here when I know for sure. The price is really good (most other single day events run >$200).

I've ran with the BMW group in the past and I've enjoyed their events, but they're the only group I've ever run with. Typically have 4 runs for $25 and you can choose between AM or PM. I'd say 3/4 of the cars there are BMWs. I only anticipate running 3 or 4 times total this season because I just run for fun, so I'll just run with whoever is having their events in Bowie or Waldorf as I have to drive from Towson and don't feel like making any special trip for auto-x.

For some reason my PMs aren't working on the new system. I`m very interested in this if it's no-roll-cage-required.
