Competed in the VAC/Commonweath Games this weekend in Danville. I won BS 3+ seconds and finished 8th overall against some serious competition. Great weekend all together. I have video but I don't know if I'll post it, it seems so much slower on video.

James, I'm hoping to be at the USTC event.

I really need to get out to something soon. So far it's looking more like another year down the drain with not enough driving.

I want to try the USTC event if it starts at a reasonable hour (10 am or later).

Last time I ran at VMP I felt like I had too much understeer, so I backed out the Gendron bar to full soft last weekend. The angles on the end links were crazy severe when I did that, so I used a 3" bolt and 1-inch spacer at the A-arm mount to move the end link close to vertical. The other option was to run longer links and move the end blade up a lot, but that would foul the steering rack boots and brake hoses. I suppose the proper method is to run a softer bar, but I want to work with what I already have at hand.

I'd be up for Mizelle's.

Now I am hoping to catch the few VMP autocross events that VMSC will be running at the tail end of their season.

I also just ordered an Eibach front sway bar. I was pretty happy with my old ap1 front sway and non-staggered but it definitely needed a little more. I think I'll probably also end up upgrading my springs with more rate up front as well but I'll try just the Eibach bar first.

When you changed your endlinks did you swap to the back of the a-arm mount as opposed to the front of it? I recently went the other direction and I'm loving it, high speed stability is much better. Also, did you take out the preload when you adjusted it, that makes a huge difference.

I might be in Chesterfield this weekend, maybe we can get together so I can get your numbers to you.

I already had the links on the back side of the A-arm, since I was using the #3 hole from the soft end of the blade and the instructions for the bar warn against crossing the midpoint of the adjustment range. I unbolted the end links completely and reinstalled them fresh, with the A-arms jacked up to support the weight of the car.

There is an autocross this Sunday at Pungo with the ODR SCCA. The details, including course map, can be found here: http://www.autocross.us/forums/index...=0&#entry53560

At the last event, we had four S2000s there. Jeff and I both pulled off class wins, and Jeff had a rather impressive PAX resuslt as well. Lets see if we can do it again.
I posted this in the autocross.us thread, but it may deserve some mention here as well, that the police will be increasing patrols in the Pungo area this weekend. This is in response to cyclist complaints about traffic and speeding. If you're in that area this weekend, keep an eye out for cyclists and LEOs. A speeding ticket on the way to an autocross doesn't reflect to well on the club hosting the event, and it could jeopordize the use of the site.

I'll be out of town this weekend so I won't make it. Still not sure about the Blackwater event either, I'd like too but we'll see.

I was out in Danville a couple weeks ago for the VA Autocross Championship/Commonwealth Games. Went well. Finished with a win in BS and a solid finish in the overall as well. Didn't have a great day on day 2 but I was able to get it done. Talk about a great weekend with some good friends, we had a great time.
